Life On Bourbon Podcast Episode 18

Michael Dardant: Bourbon Street, Gutter Punks, and Cloud-Bursting This week on the Life on Bourbon podcast, Armando Leduc sits down with New Orleans legend Michael “Magic Mike” (not THAT one) Dardant. Mike dives into 15 years of living in the French Quarter "vortex," a place he calls "Sesame Street on acid" where everyone you’ve ever met eventually walks by. He recounts wild tales of winning moonshine in a crawfish contest, "cloud-bursting" to save a tubing trip, and a gutter punk whose dog chose freedom over defense. From matrix-style standoffs on Bourbon Street to performing for "super wired" hotel guests, this episode captures the beautiful, sticky chaos of NOLA. Tune in for a masterclass on independent filmmaking, New Orleans icons, and the art of surviving the Quarter. #lifeonbourbon #magicmikenola #frenchquartervortex #nolachaos
