$4800 iPhone Duo, $8600 Surface Laptop - Are We MILLIONAIRES?

I have a serious question for Microsoft, Sony, Apple, NVIDIA, and every other tech company out there. Do they think we are MILLIONAIRES? The iPhone Duo is $4800 and the Surface Laptop Ultra is for $8,579.99 for the highest tier. Because somebody needs to explain what's going on with the prices of technology. We're living in a time when groceries are expensive, housing is expensive, electricity is expensive, and just about everything else is getting harder to afford. But somehow, these technology companies have decided that the average consumer should be spending thousands of dollars just to enjoy the same hobbies we've enjoyed for years. And what's even more ridiculous is that some of these products aren't even new anymore. I'm a tech enthusiast. I love technology, and I love testing new gadgets. But I'm also a consumer, and some of these prices are getting completely out of control.
