Liver Transplant and the Alcoholic: Beyond the Stigma

There is a well established stigma associated with alcoholism and alcohol use disorder. Liver transplant is a life saving procedure in properly selected patients who suffer from alcoholism. We present the data to take a new look at this population, and what we all need to do to lessen the stigma of alcohol use disorder, especially when it comes to liver transplant. #alcoholusedisorder #alcoholism #livertransplant
