Saurav Das on CJP Protest: Mumbai Police | Breaking | ABP News

(Hindustan Times, The News Mill) The proposed CJP protest at Mumbai's Shivaji Park on October 2 has drawn attention after chief spokesperson Saurav Das announced a nationwide campaign demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. The Cockroach Janta Party plans to begin its agitation in Mumbai and expand it to other cities. However, Mumbai Police has denied permission for the proposed gathering at Shivaji Park, citing a 2013 Bombay High Court order and regulations related to public gatherings, traffic and noise. Despite the denial, CJP leaders have said they intend to continue their protest movement.
