Another flood tide trip in the Golden Isles, and one of the few trips I was actually able to save the footage from.
If you watched my previous videos, you know I've been trying to upload a couple times a week. Unfortunately, I lost an SD card and had another card get corrupted, which wiped out about a month of fishing footage. 😩
So this video is some of the footage I was able to save!
This was a quick 2-hour flood tide trip, fishing about one hour before and one hour after high tide. I was able to find a couple redfish tails and got three of them to eat, but it just wasn't my day. All three fish came off after the strike. Three strikes and you're out! 😂
That's fishing sometimes, especially when you're trying to hook redfish in heavy marsh grass. Even when you don't land the fish, getting to watch them tail and eat in skinny water is what makes flood tide fishing so much fun.
