On 2 October 2025, the ECO4ALL network gathered online for an inspiring WG2 webinar titled “Practical Guide to Circular Economy: Benefits and Actions through Reduce, Reuse, Repair.”
This event brought together experts and researchers who shared their knowledge, experiences, and national perspectives on how circular economy principles can be transformed into real, impactful action.
The session opened with warm welcoming remarks from Prof. Olesea Plotnic, Action Chair, and Prof. Dr. Isidora Milošević, WG2 Leader, who introduced the goals of the meeting and set the tone for an afternoon of learning and exchange.
The webinar continued with Prof. Dr. Gülden Ayalp from Turkey, who explored how circular economy strategies can be applied within the built environment. Her presentation highlighted the importance of rethinking how buildings are designed and how materials are used throughout their life cycle.
This was followed by an insightful contribution from Ana Momčilović Ristanović, a PhD candidate from Serbia, who discussed the challenges and opportunities related to organic waste management. Her analysis shed light on the critical role of waste reduction and improved systems in achieving circularity at the national level.
The final presentation of the event was delivered by Prof. Dr. Katerina Bojkovska from North Macedonia, who offered a global perspective on sustainability. She connected local actions with wider international efforts, reminding participants that circular economy is both a community practice and a worldwide responsibility.
The webinar concluded with a dynamic Q&A session, allowing participants to reflect, exchange ideas, and reinforce their commitment to advancing circular economy practices through reducing, reusing, and repairing.
