The old coat was ugly in terrible form the other was a new one had never been worn I'll tell you the best thing I ever did do I laid off the old coat and I put on the new I'll tell you the best thing I ever did do I laid off the old coat and I put on the new The first man was earthy and made from the ground We all bear His image the whole world around The next was my Savior from Heaven so fair He bought me this new coat you now see me wear Chorus: I’ll tell you the best thing…. Now this coat it fits me it keeps me so warm It's good in the winter it's good in the storm My Savior has dressed me in garments so rare He bought me this new coat you now see me wear I’ll tell you the best thing…. Now this coat it fits me it keeps me so warm It's good in the winter it's good in the storm My Savior has dressed me in garments so rare He filled me with His goodness, His joy I share I'll tell you the best thing I ever did do I laid off the old coat and I put on the new I'll tell you the best thing I ever did do I laid off the old coat and I put on the new Jimmy Swaggart Ministries SonLife Broadcasting Network Family Worship Center Gabriel Swaggart Grace Brumley Robin Herd Jill Swaggart Kim Coleman BJ Pons Joseph Larson Tara Montpetit
