Its Buddhist legacy reaches back to the late Tang and Five Dynasties period, while the present temple complex was rebuilt at this site from 1996 and completed in 1998. This immersive first-person walk follows the temple’s rising central axis through gateways, stone steps, courtyards and monumental halls, revealing the contrast between a centuries-old religious tradition and the modern city of Shunde below.
