Quality in conference interpreting

Conference interpreting is not an exact science and providing a quality service is a fundamental institutional and individual objective. But what do we mean by the word quality? Who defines it and how? Is there alignment between the expectations and standards of practitioners and those of our clients? Without providing definitive answers, this talk aims to spark debate and encourage reflection on how interpreting services are assessed and how we can preserve our sanity and motivation in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
