[Recorded 20/4/24] I believe this is the last video waiting in the backlog from the Bon Accord and it's a good one! A trio of lifts (although one was sadly broken at the time of filming) and a tour of the motor room too!
It's not known for definite what these were originally, the only real theory that has any weight to it is Ellis & McDougall purely based on the goods lifts having originally been installed by them, unfortunately there are no other obvious indicators that I was able to find. Schindler gave these an extensive mod in around 2008 with Panachrome light curtain door sensors added somewhat more recently. These use Ziehl-Ahbegg motors and Miconic MX-GC logic and have FI MXB indicators with the vandal resistant FI MXV buttons, a combination that I have in my head as being known as FI MXH.
Recording Device: iPhone 12 Pro Max
PLEASE NOTE: Access to this motor room was done with pre-arranged permission and supervision at all times. Do not enter lift motor rooms unauthorised!
