(See newer version) Comparison: 250k vs 500k pots for Seymour Duncan Quarter Pounders for Strat

Please see the updated video:    • 250k vs 500k Pot Shootout v. 2.0 | Seymour...   Conventional wisdom says that single-coil pickups should always use 250k pots for tone and volume (except for P90s.) I've been playing Seymour Duncan Quarter Pounder pickups in my strat for a few months and it sounds a little dark and muddy. These pickups are supposed to be a lot like P90s, so I decided to treat them like P90s and give them a 500k volume pot. I LOVE the change, but it is personal taste.
