Can You Beat Alola With Only Unused Pokémon?

Yes, I know I threw hard against Hau's Tauros. I don't know how I managed to underestimate that thing so many times. The Alola Region has one of the best new PokeDex's in franchise history, featuring a plethora of fun, interesting, or powerful new Pokémon for players to use. Despite this, though, a lot of new Alolan Pokémon didn't get any representation in their home region, so I thought it'd be run to run back my challenge run idea from Unova. Can the rejects from Alola conquer some of the hardest games in series history? Or will we end up wiping to the Ultra-Necrozma-shaped elephant in the room?
