ባል ሆይ፣ ከክርስቶስ ውጭ ሚስትህን መውደድ አትችልም - - - Appeal for Purity

The union between a husband and wife points toward the faithful, sacrificial, and eternal love between Jesus Christ and His Bride, the church. Christ is not a method for obtaining the marriage we desire. He is our Savior, Lord, life, and greatest treasure. A husband cannot love his wife as God commands through natural affection or determination alone. If his love is to reflect Christ, its source must be Christ.
