Celebrate the timeless poetry and literary legacy of Mir Taqi Mir, one of the greatest poets of Urdu literature, through Jashn-e-Adab Sahityotsava’s special celebration marking Mir Taqi Mir’s 300th Birth Anniversary. Held on 23 November 2023 at Annexe Court, IIC Annexe, New Delhi, this special literary programme brought together distinguished poets, writers, storytellers and performers to revisit the life, poetry and enduring influence of Mir Taqi Mir—widely remembered as Khuda-e-Sukhan (God of Poetry). The programme featured conversations, storytelling, a special Mehfil-e-Mir (Mushaira) and musical presentations of Mir’s poetry, offering audiences a rich journey through the world of Mir Taqi Mir, Urdu poetry, Ghazal, Shayari and Urdu Adab.
