Peugeot 309 GTi: The underdog hot hatch...better than a 205 GTi?

Unknown. Forgotten. Underappreciated. An underdog. The Peugeot 309 GTi certainly lives in the shadows of the universally applauded 205 GTi. This video is asking the question, is that's fair? The rarity, practicality and performance of the 309 GTi in many ways is superior to what some regard as the best hot hatch ever produced by the French marque. Look past the subjectively bland or some would say awkward styling, and you'll find a lot of modern classic car value wrapped up in a very enticing packaged.
