Finding Jobs Opportunities| Beyond the Classroom: Our Placement & Referral Program|

Learning a skill is a huge achievement, but finding that first job? That’s where the real challenge begins. In Kenya, high unemployment and limited formal education often create huge barriers for young women looking to earn an income. That’s why at Ubani Trust, our work doesn't stop at the end of a training class or apprenticeship. We actively use our network to advocate for our girls, connect them to open positions and refer them to local businesses, like restaurants, shops and salons. And for some of our graduates, their path leads them right back home: becoming employed staff members right here within the Ubani family. Seeing our girls earn a steady income and gain real independence is what makes this 10-year journey so meaningful.
