To be quite honest, I did not even see this scheduled reroute several days before this. I only saw this reroute the day of. I got extremely lucky that I did it right away because if I waited until Friday, I would’ve had a disastrous day because there was a switch failure at Coney Island on the Friday when the reroute was scheduled for. Due to track maintenance on the Manhattan Bound track of the Sea Beach Line, Manhattan Bound (N) Trains got sent on the (D) Line from Coney Island to 36 St. At some point soon, I hope that the (D) can get a midday reroute via Sea Beach closely together in each direction before the R68s are taken off of the (D) Line because if that does happen, I might be able to do a roundtrip with that midday reroute with the R68 and the R211A eventually with the (D) Train via the (N) Line. It would be a cool addition to have. It was certainly satisfying to complete this roundtrip after having to wait a few months for this opportunity.
