Government committed to Ladakh’s aspirations, Chief Secretary appeals for patience

Chief Secretary Ashish Kundra briefed the media about the development projects inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Ladakh and the outcomes of the sub-committee meeting held on October 15. The Chief Secretary said that concrete progress had been made in every meeting and that the concerns and demands of the people of Ladakh were being heard and addressed. He informed that the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) had submitted a 32-page draft proposal to the Apex Body Leh and the Kargil Democratic Alliance (KDA), incorporating all the concerns raised by the Ladakh leadership.
