MotorStorm – PS3 Launch Chaos! | The BIT Between

NOTICE: Before I get into it- apologies for the frame rate in the game play footage - as a result I’ve now finally invested in a new capture card… #doingmyheadin. Despite not emulating, and just streaming from tbe console, it’s somehow worse! Also, thanks to a copyright notce - youtube has snipped out some music, see if you can spot where!! The pain of amateur “tubin’” eh? 🤣 Hope you can all still enjoy this amazing game… 🤞… We’re kicking off our Month With the PlayStation 3 with one of the games that helped show what Sony’s expensive new machine could actually do — MotorStorm! Developed by Evolution Studios, MotorStorm brought ridiculous off-road racing, multiple vehicle classes, spectacular crashes and lots and LOTS of mud to the PS3. But nearly 20 years later, once you look past those impressive-for-2007 graphics, is MotorStorm still actually any good? In this episode of The BIT Between, we take it for another spin, look back at its infamous E3 reveal, its reception, the sequels that followed and see how it holds up today. 🎮 Game: MotorStorm 🕹️ Platform: PlayStation 3 📅 Released: 2006 Japan/US, 2007 Europe 👨‍💻 Developer: Evolution Studios 🏁 Publisher: Sony Computer Entertainment This is part of A Month With the PlayStation 3 on Pieces of 8-Bit. 🕓 CHAPTERS / TIMESTAMPS: 00:00 Introduction 05:19 Gameplay! 21:52 Final Thoughts & Verdict 31:07 Now and Next 🕹️ SOCIAL LINKS - CONNECT WITH PIECES OF 8-BIT: 🌍 Piecesof8Bit Website ► https://Piecesof8Bit.com 📺 YouTube ►    / @piecesof8-bit   📺 8-Bit's Bytesize ►    / @piecesof8bitsbytesize   🎮 Twitch ►   / piecesof8bitretro   🎧 TikTok ►   / piecesof8bit   💬 Discord ►   / discord   📘 Facebook ► https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?... 📸 Instagram ►   / piecesof8bit.retro   🧩 HASHTAGS: #MotorStorm #PS3 #PlayStation3 #RetroGaming #TheBITBetween #EvolutionStudios #PlayStation #RacingGames #Gaming
