Detroit funeral home sued by 2 families after alleged mix-up

Two families have filed lawsuits after an alleged mix-up at Hutchinson Funeral Home in Detroit earlier this month. One family says their mother was accidentally cremated, and another family’s mother was “used as a prop,” their attorney alleges. The family whose mother was accidentally cremated still has not yet received her remains.
