Welcome back to FalseCast.
This episode started with fishing and hunting updates and somehow turned into a conversation about bats, possums, Halloween candy, football, and whether spending a grand on a muskie reel actually makes you a better fisherman.
We talk Mille Lacs smallmouth, pheasant season, bear hunting, trout regulations, Vikings football, Packers football, and the shocking discovery that National Bat Week is apparently a real thing.
A few things we learned:
• Possums are friends.
• Box elder bugs are still useless.
• Mille Lacs continues to produce giants.
• Some people spend way too much money on fishing gear.
• Candy corn remains deeply divisive.
As always, double-check the regulations before taking our advice and don't blame us if this episode sends you down a rabbit hole researching bat populations in Wisconsin.
Thanks for listening, and remember:
Never harm a possum.
