Rooming with Mice

The plaintiff says the defendant lives upstairs from her in the same building, had some kind of fight, and something was thrown from her window, smashing into her car. She claims the police told her the defendant's boyfriend tried to throw her out the window, but luckily some kind of statue was thrown instead. She's suing for the damages. The defendant says something was thrown out of her window during an argument she was having, but she had no idea at the time it hit the plaintiff's car. She says she gave all of her boyfriend's information to the plaintiff because he was the one who threw the object and he's the one who owes.
