Billy Boston’s Funeral

Sir Billy Boston was laid to rest on Thursday 10th September 2026. Billy’s funeral service was held at The Brick Community Stadium in Wigan, the home of Wigan Warriors. Around 1,000 people attended the service, including past players and the Prime Minister, Andy Burnham. Originally broadcast on BBC North West Tonight, 10th September 2026.
