Remembering Senior Biker Asif Raza Late Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un. Pakistan’s motorcycle tourism community has lost one of its pioneering figures, a humble, kind-hearted, and deeply respected senior biker, Mr. Asif Raza. After a few months of illness, Asif Raza Sahib passed away and returned to his Creator, leaving behind countless memories and a legacy of friendship, humility, and love for motorcycle tourism. His passing deeply saddened thousands of tourists, bikers, and friends across Pakistan. We have lost not only an experienced biker and tourism pioneer, but also a gentle and caring presence who always welcomed others with warmth and affection. My first meeting with Asif Raza Sahib took place in 2017 during the Cholistan Jeep Rally at Jhok Jahangirdan, where Cross Route Club had established its camping village. It was my first interaction with a major tourism and motorcycle community. I had travelled alone from Dera Ghazi Khan and was completely unfamiliar with everyone there. His kindness and hospitality, however, quickly turned that unfamiliarity into a feeling of belonging. I still remember receiving my first-ever tourism award from the hands of Asif Raza Sahib, among hundreds of bikers who had gathered from across Pakistan. That moment remains a cherished memory for me. Over the years, his affection and encouragement remained a constant source of warmth. Whenever he passed through Multan, he would often take the time to meet us, ask about our well-being, and treat younger members of the tourism community with the same respect and affection he showed to everyone. For decades, Asif Raza Sahib played an important role in nurturing motorcycle tourism in Pakistan. Despite his experience and seniority, he remained humble, down-to-earth, sincere, and full of love for people. His kindness toward younger bikers was one of his most admirable qualities. My last meeting with him was at the Kala Bagh Camping Gala last year. He was smiling, as always, and speaking in the same warm and affectionate manner. Today, he is no longer with us, but his memories, his words, his smile, and the countless journeys he shared with the motorcycle tourism community will remain alive in our hearts. On Sunday, September 27, Wasaib Explorer organized a Fateha Khwani and Condolence Meetup to pay tribute to the life and legacy of Asif Raza Sahib and to pray for the forgiveness and eternal peace of the departed soul. May Allah Almighty forgive Asif Raza Sahib, shower His countless blessings upon him, grant him the highest place in Jannat-ul-Firdous, and give patience and strength to his family, friends, and the entire motorcycle tourism community. Ameen. We request everyone to remember Asif Raza Sahib in their prayers.
