What is happening house lover's and explorers. Today we have a look at a typical post world war ii weatherboard built home. These homes were built with weatherboard but then many had a layer of conite added. Conite is a thin layer of cement spread over wire mesh which acted as a more insulated and durable exterior although it was not without its problems of causing other issues as moisture rot and stump subsidence. The old home is pretty much a time capsule regarding no renovations and still has a magnificent example of the late 40s early decore that was all the trend at the time.
