NACFC 2026 | DG13: Hot Topics in Nursing

This session featured a discussion of “Hot Topics in Nursing” within cystic fibrosis care. Topics included the development and sustainability of a food pantry program, palliative care across the lifespan, the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in CF clinics to save time and improve consistency, and access challenges related to elexacaftor/tezacaftor/ivacaftor (ETI), with an emphasis on raising awareness and sharing patient stories.
