LambPlus 2027

Sign up to LambPlus 2027! LambPlus is Sheep Ireland's performance recording service for pedigree and commercial sheep farmers, designed to drive genetic improvement and increase farm profitability. By recording important flock events such as mating, pregnancy scanning, lambing details, and weights, farmers receive genetic evaluations and €uro-Star indexes for their animals. These tools help identify the best breeding stock and enables more profitable flock management. Ireland continues to see positive genetic gains in both the Terminal and Replacement indexes, highlighting the value of performance recording and genetic improvement across the sheep sector.
