Eleven months later he was dead, with estimates of his bank balance ranging from under $105,000 to about $150,000. His mother Afeni Shakur fought Death Row for his unreleased recordings and built Amaru Entertainment. Today his sister Sekyiwa Shakur says the trustee Afeni picked, Tom Whalley, paid himself more than $5.5 million in five years. He denies it, and the case is still open.
