ALIEN-TECHNOLOGIE? Neue US-Kampfdrohne sorgt für UFO-Spekulationen! Lockheed Martin zeigt erstmals ein maßstabsgetreues Modell der Vectis. Die autonome Tarnkappen-Drohne soll künftig mit bemannten Kampfjets wie der F-35 zusammenarbeiten und für unterschiedliche militärische Missionen eingesetzt werden. Der erste Prototyp soll Ende 2027 fliegen. Insgesamt sind zunächst fünf Fahrzeuge geplant. Das futuristische, schwanzlose Design sorgt im Netz zugleich für UFO-Spekulationen. Belege für eine Verbindung zu außerirdischer Technologie gibt es nicht. Vectis wird von Lockheed Martin auf eigene Kosten entwickelt; ein Auftrag der US Air Force liegt bislang nicht vor.
