In Part 1, I walked from the Market Square up to the Cathedral. In this video, I take a different route down to the north side of the castle and then climb back up again using another path. Meißen is full of maze-like alleys that connect in unexpected ways, allowing access to the Cathedral from many different routes. Exploring these winding streets felt like solving a labyrinth, making the town especially enjoyable to walk through. It was early Sunday morning, and the town was still quiet and asleep. Yet birdsong could be heard everywhere, creating a peaceful atmosphere and making for a refreshing morning walk. This video shows the old town’s maze-like streets with minimal cuts, capturing every corner in detail.
