Our repertoire encompasses the diversity of Turkish music, including traditional songs, Turkish folk music, Türk sanat müziği, regional traditions, and popular music. Through our performances, we hope to share this music with both Turkish-speaking audiences and listeners who may be discovering Turkish music for the first time. We believe music can create bridges between generations, cultures, and communities. 🤝 MORE THAN A CHOIR Koro Arkadaş is more than a group that meets to sing. We are building a community. Our rehearsals are a place to learn music, improve our singing, meet new people, reconnect with old friends, and spend time together. We believe that some of the most meaningful parts of making music happen outside the performance itself—the friendships formed during rehearsals, the laughter, the shared challenges, and the feeling of accomplishing something together. The word Arkadaş reflects the kind of environment we want to create: warm, supportive, inclusive, and family-like.
