Wendell Berry... Not A Saint But Better

Wendell Berry was a brilliant writer, poet, farmer, teacher. He was also a kind man who was fierce and courageous about what he loved. He loved family, community, farming and the whole web of life. Berry was not a saint, but better than a saint. He was a living breathing human who never placed himself above others. He walked shoulder to shoulder with all of us who love beautiful, artful words and Mother Earth.
