SPEEDPAINT - Surrender | Fairy Foxes (Kai & Starria)

It's been a hot minute since I did a speedpaint! Just like old times, eh? Every year on 10/10, I have a tradition of drawing Kai. (His is one of the few character birthdays I celebrate, haha) This year, I wanted to do something with a little more story to it, so what better to draw than a piece of my favorite story I've never completed in any official capacity! Before the events of Fairy Foxes, Kai was a fierce and powerful Cooperate, tasked with crushing any rebel uprisings and breaking the rebel faction's complex communication codes. Unfortunately for him, the captured rebel leader Starria is one of the only foxes able to decipher the impossible codes... and she's made it her mission to turn him to the light. Kai and Starria are one of my favorite duos. They are very similar in a lot of ways, but find themselves in opposite sides of life and war. Someday I'll draw their story ♥ Music | The Garden - DJ Carpi (Mantero Mix)
