Current moves through a succession of unstable surfaces whose scale and substance remain deliberately uncertain. Forms emerge, shift and dissolve into one another, appearing briefly before losing their recognisable boundaries. In dialogue with Joki puhuu / Voice of the River / Голос Реки, it listens to the river as a shifting field of relations between human and more-than-human bodies, inner experience and surrounding landscape. Boundaries gather, disperse and reorganise, while voice, bodily sound and field recordings pass through the images like fragments of an ongoing conversation, never resolving into a single narrative.
