Double jump to Drill is how you get inside on the avatar part. Gives you just enough time to drill him from the inside and is very difficult. I don't think I'll be able to do that again. You can't wire attack him since that whole part of his body will hurt you due to the punch. For the final phase, what I do is only a little over a second faster than fighting it normally. Six homing attacks then stomp lets you keep hitting it if you are quick enough. The issue is you can't avoid it pulling it back for it to switch to its second and third cycles so you have to plan around that.
