Mythic Coiled Altar - Devastation Evoker PoV

Very tough boss; every pull is very different due to rng mechanics so the timings end up kind of being all over the place pull to pull. Several people have asked me about aug vs dev on this boss so I figured I'd put a summary of my thoughts here: If you're the only evoker in your raid, Aug is 100% the correct choice. If you aren't, dev can fill a spread cleaver slot. That isn't to say double Aug is bad, but it requires some playing around and the second Aug will probably lose some value. Dev's main issue on this fight is being generationally bad on the burn (trust me it's really bad) and not better enough than Aug in p3 to make up the difference. It looks pretty good on overall at the end but struggles a bit to help with the important parts of the fight. It is also extremely easy to turbo grief your raid because of our positioning requirements, so you have to be very aware of what's going on at all times and when it's safe to do things that help you do more damage vs when to just take the L. This is very much not a fight designed with short arms in mind so you have to make adjustments for that.
