[echospace addition] 05:21 6. o.b.m.x. [variant subtraction] unreleased 07:16 Originally out on wax via Southeast England-based techno label, Fortune8 by Lee Purkis (R.I.P.) aka In Sync in late 2007. This digital edition features unreleased mixes and remastered versions available on a limited CD edition run for promotion at the 2008 Sonar Festival. O B M X is a mixture of covert bass tones and the shuffling of hazy shifting sand dunes in mighty fine dub style, while fans of more traditional techno structures may find the cv313 reduction more compulsive, a robust techno creature with a propelling groove that’s quite different to anything we’ve heard before from the e c h o s p a c e school of thought. Finally, the e c h o s p a c e reduction stretches the whispy ambience into a specimen all of its own. Magnificent. -Intellar Stellar Sounds, England Released, 15.
