G was knocked out early in the engagement, leaving him stranded with a smoking hull and lost crew. Refusing to fall back, Hahn hitched a desperate ride on a frontline halftrack, which was promptly blown to pieces beneath him. Operating solely with an MP40, Panzerschreck, and sheer spite, he fought his way through the mud until locating a Tiger II with one less crew on the line.
