Climbing a VOLCANO with Hola Lanzarote! 🌋 Montaña Roja, Playa Blanca

Hiking Montaña Roja in Playa Blanca, Lanzarote — incredible views, a huge volcanic crater and enough wind to make me question my choices! 🌋😂 After eight years of visiting Lanzarote and looking up at its famous Red Mountain, I’m finally climbing it! Joining me is fellow YouTuber David from Hola Lanzarote, who leads the way up, around the crater and safely back down. Hiking isn’t exactly my comfort zone, but the views over Playa Blanca, Faro Park and the coastline are worth the effort. Along the way, we chat about life in Lanzarote, spot familiar hotels from a completely different angle and discover just how windy that summit can get! Then it’s down the loose, rocky path and back along the seafront, passing little beaches, waterfront bars and some lovely spots to stop and admire the ocean. To David, it’s a little stroll before lunch. To me?
