"Why Are You Doing What You're Doing?"

Today's installment is a revisit for me to this USPS location as I exercised my freedom to record in public spaces of the property. I had a handful of encounters with various customers & one sticking out in particular. That came from an elderly guy who'd just parked. As soon as he got out, he asked, "Why are you doing what you're doing?" he then claimed he didn't give me permission to record him. I told him no permission was needed & offered him my handout of photography rights, I even suggested he look up information on his handheld device. He then said to me , "If I want your advice, I'll ask." When I suggested he was ignorant of the topic, he claimed he was feeling threatened by me & handed back the paper I gave him to read. On his way out, he alerted a random woman I was going to record her license plate. I assured her I wasn't going to, just the elderly guy's since he wanted to act like a fool. He stated that when the police arrived, I would be asked to leave. I told him to have the day he deserves & then he turned around to say it was his anniversary. Since it was Valentine's day, I jokingly blew him a kiss as he drove by before exiting the lot.
