2026 Rebelle Rally LIVE | DAY 5 AM SPONSORED BY BILSTEIN and WARNER INEOS GRENADIER

2026 Rebelle Rally LIVE | DAY 5 AM SPONSORED BY BILSTEIN and WARNER INEOS GRENADIER Today, teams transit via pavement into Johnson Valley. Previously, they would have used good graded roads and well-used canyons and power line roads to access the area, but a judge has put out a court order BANNING ONLY recreational users from 2,200 miles of trails in the desert. Teams enter at the north end as they work their way to Base Camp 2. Johnson Valley is a vast Open OHV Area consisting of very steep rocky mountains, rolling hills, open valleys, dry lake beds, and loose sand washes. This area forces stock vehicles to slow down to take care of their vehicles. Day 5 is a map and compass challenge in Johnson Valley Open OHV Area meaning teams can drive anyone on the terrain. Open OHVs also force teams to use true dead reckoning navigation. It is a straight-forward competition day, but teams will need to stay on heading and read their maps carefully. This day marks the turn in the competition where the driving and navigation gets more challenging, navigation is more demanding, teams are getting more tired and points start separating.
