Slow Pulp - At Home (Webster Hall, NYC 11/14/24)

Slow Pulp sold out two nights at Webster Hall as part of their US Fall tour. It's been two years since I last saw them opening for Alvvays. Since then I've unfortunately missed their show when they came around and had kicked myself for missing it. They had my ear when I first saw them a few times a row while I was seeing Alvvays 5 times in the span of about a week, D.C. , Philly, and then three nights in NYC. However it was after the release of their latest album "Yard" in 2023 that really got its hooks into me. That album has come back into my rotation time and time again over the last year and I'm happy to have been able to hear it live tonight. Understandably they didn't play all the songs I wanted to hear off the album, which is pretty much all of them, but they hit quite a few of my favorites. On my way to the show, an asshole driver pulled out of a left turn only lane and scratched my car and then fled the scene. I was so annoyed but the damage to my car could be fixed. The show was amazing and more than helped lift my mood,.
