Setenil & Ronda - A Rocky Connection

Setenil is a town built inside rocky cliffs, while Ronda is a place built on top of rocky cliffs! But there is a deeper connection between the two that lies in the region's history. They say the name Setenil comes from the Latin words septem nihil, meaning "seven times nothing". This is the number of attempts that the Christian forces made to capture the town from the Muslims. And once Setenil fell, Ronda followed suit one year later. I have already covered Ronda in ‘A Rendezvous With Ronda’, but this clip includes more shots from the museum and La Casa del Rey Moro, which offers lovely views of the old bridge in the east.
