Jesus meets human helplessness with compassionate authority, and disciples learn to bring even unbelief to him in honest, dependent prayer. Where is my trust divided right now? Scripture: Mark 9:14–29 Chapters: 0:00 Lord, Help Mine Unbelief 0:10 Lord, Help My Unbelief 1:09 From Glory to the Need Below 2:11 The Disciples Could Not 3:19 Bring Him to Me 4:25 If You Can… 5:29 I Believe; Help My Unbelief 6:29 He Took Him by the Hand 7:29 Why Could We Not? 8:32 Nothing But Prayer 9:36 Bring It to Jesus First Discipleship takeaway: Bring It to Jesus First Bring the helpless case, the divided heart, and the next decision to Jesus first in honest, dependent prayer. Reflection: • What have I been trying to manage through argument, technique, appearance, or self-effort instead of bringing it to Jesus first? • Can I pray Mark 9:24 honestly without pretending: “I believe; help my unbelief”? • What one act of obedience should follow this prayer today? Prayer: Lord Jesus Christ, I believe; help my unbelief. I bring to you what I cannot fix, what I cannot carry, and what I have been afraid to name. Have compassion and help me. Teach me to depend on the Father in prayer and to follow you in humble obedience. Amen. Full lesson and study resources: https://dwinfield.com/learning_activi...
