World Population Live Counter 24/7 | Births, Deaths & Global Demographics

Watch the World Population Live Counter update 24/7 with continuously changing estimates for the global human population, births, deaths and population growth. This live demographic dashboard displays estimated population data for the world, the ten most populated countries and every inhabited continent. It also provides an overview of global age groups, urban and rural population, male and female population, median age, fertility, life expectancy and long-term population trends. Live counters include World population; births, deaths and population growth today; births, deaths and population growth this year; estimated populations of India, China, the United States, Indonesia, Pakistan, Nigeria, Brazil, Bangladesh, Russia and Ethiopia; and estimated populations of Asia, Africa, Europe, North America, South America and Oceania. Global demographic indicators The dashboard also displays population by age group, urban and rural population, male and female population, median age, fertility rate, life expectancy, annual population growth, population growth since 2000, the projected population for 2050 and the estimated number of humans ever born. Values marked B represent billions, while values marked M represent millions. Median age and life expectancy are shown in years. Fertility represents the estimated average number of births per woman. Data and estimation method The dashboard uses baseline population values and demographic rates derived from official population datasets and United Nations population estimates. The live figures are generated by continuously applying the relevant population growth, birth and death rates to those baseline values. These numbers are statistical estimates rather than direct real-time registrations of every birth or death. Small differences may therefore exist between this dashboard and other population sources because datasets, reference dates, revisions and estimation methods can vary. The stream runs continuously for viewers interested in world population statistics, global demographics, population growth, country populations, geography, data visualization and real-time statistics. #WorldPopulation #PopulationLive #LiveCounter
