Where Basque Streets Meet the Ocean | San Sebastián Spain Walking Tour

Welcome to San Sebastián, the Basque seaside city where a golden beach curves right up to the edge of the old town. About This Walk Our walk begins on La Concha Beach and follows the promenade around the bay, passing Alderdi Eder Park, the City Hall and the Belle Époque carousel. From there we head into the Parte Vieja, the historic old town, along Calle Mayor to the Basílica de Santa María del Coro and Plaza de la Constitución, before reaching the working fishing port. The second half crosses the Alameda del Boulevard toward the Victoria Eugenia Theater, follows Paseo de la República Argentina over Santa Catalina Bridge into the Gros neighborhood, and finishes on the Zurriola Promenade facing the open Atlantic.
