A Space Junk Sabers ‘Steampunk Canon Y Scrap’

Another fantastic one-off from the mind of Nevin over at Space Junk Sabers. This is a Steampunk themed hilt that has an incredible amount of detail. I have always been a fan of Canon Y Clamps but this hilt takes the cake. There are some really fantastic minute details on this one….the Tiffen Lens adapter and other camera lens accents in the Pommel are subtle details I really love seeing. This also has a vacuum tube in the crystal chamber, that I was able to back light with some white Edison filaments, and animate from underneath with a 4 1515 Neopixel array from Kims Cantina. Client wanted as many blinkies on this as possible, so I was also able to get some animated blue SMD LEDs under the clamp card, which is from SlothFurnace. This also came with a custom blade plug from Space Junk.
