YAF 10 year anniversary

This year, Young Arts Fundraisers celebrated a decade of building community, sharing knowledge and championing the next generation of arts and cultural fundraisers. In 2016, YAF was founded in response to a simple but important gap in the cultural sector: early-career fundraisers needed a space of their own to connect with peers, learn from experienced practitioners and build the confidence and skills to progress in their careers. From the outset, YAF had the ambition of bringing people together, creating a community where emerging fundraisers could share experiences, learn from one another, and access the support and networks they needed to build meaningful careers in the arts. Even ten years later, that founding spirit still remains central to our vision. As part of our anniversary celebrations, Paula O'Neill, Head of Members Services at the Chartered Institute of Fundraising gave an inaugurational speech, followed by a panel discussion screening titled: "Career Networks: Why are networks so important in arts fundraising? What can be achieved from being a part of these networks?".
