If God exists, why does He hide? It is the oldest question in theology — and, as Michio Kaku's physics shows, it may also be a question about the nature of reality itself. In this video, we take the divine hiddenness problem seriously: the most important being in existence is also the least visible, and believers and skeptics alike have wrestled with that silence for centuries. Kaku's answer starts with a surprising fact: hiddenness is the rule in physics, not the exception. Germs were invisible until microscopes. Radio waves filled the air for all of human history before Hertz detected them. Exoplanets were pure theory until 1995. Neutrinos pass through your body by the trillions every second, unseen. Gravitational waves rippled through spacetime for a century before LIGO caught one in 2015. And today, 95% of the universe — dark matter and dark energy — remains completely invisible to every instrument we own. If the physical universe hides 95% of itself, should we be surprised that God does too? #kaku #god #science
