32 Years, Same Passion | Racing Hungary’s Legendary Crosskovaczi MTB Marathon

The Croskovaczi MTB Marathon is much more than just another mountain bike race. Held just outside Budapest, this event has been bringing riders together for over 30 years and remains one of Hungary’s most established mountain bike traditions. In this video, I take on the marathon course, explore the atmosphere around the event, speak with the race organizer, and experience the trails that have helped shape Hungarian mountain biking for more than three decades. From race preparations and local culture to fast forest trails, technical singletracks, and race-day action, this video captures what makes Crosskovaczi a unique destination for mountain bikers.
